Upcoming Programs

Urban Development Program

As part of the Urban Development Project, an integrated development strategy is followed. Concentrating on one developmental aspect will be rendered useless unless a multi dimensional approach is adopted. It is for this reason that initiatives in the field of education for children, adults; women empowerment through vocational training, Self help groups and health are run simultaneously. Integrated Community Development Program are being run in the three resettlement Colonies of Delhi namely Bawana, Holambi Kalan and Jahangirpuri focusing on education, health care, vocational training, women empowerment and community mobilization bringing an impact on the lives of more than 500 people.

Rural Development Program

Close to 70% of India still resides in rural and semi urban areas. It is in rural India that a vast potential of talent and untapped creative and intellectual energy lies. If this group of people is not empowered, the nation as a whole cannot flourish and develop. With the focus of developing this human force, we started to think of ways to empower the rural India. Since women stand at the fore front of most activities of rural lives, the most impactful intervention was to initiate active participation of women in the decision making policies. The rural development initiatives of our Sai help age India Foundation saw the light of the day with Women's Panchayat in different area. But that was just the beginning of a dream lived well that continues to grow from strength to strength every day.
